Good afternoon, all! FYI from City Incident Command: Please see the attached announcement below concerning Tropical Depression #9. The City had their first storm prep meeting today and asked that I share the current info we have about the storm with anyone in the City .
TD 9 currently is still an undeclared storm, but we anticipate that to change possibly this weekend or by Monday. Please make any necessary plans to ensure your safety and that you have supplies (food, water, medication, etc.) to last you. Sandbags will not be made available until the event is officially declared, but when it is Manatee County will have them available at GT Bray Park on 59 St. W. We will do our best to keep the City informed with up-to-date info as we receive it. Thanks!!
